Terms of Service
Last updated 20 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Duesy. Using the service means you accept them. If you are using Duesy on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming you may accept them for that organisation.
What Duesy is
Duesy records shared expenses and calculates who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not move money. Marking a debt as settled records that you say a payment happened; it does not make one happen, and we take no part in any payment between you and anyone else.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share logins.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Acceptable use
Do not use Duesy to:
- Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
- Add people to expenses or groups in order to harass them.
- Upload content you have no right to upload.
- Probe, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape the service, or use it through automated means we have not permitted.
Your content
What you record stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to store it, display it back to you, and show the relevant parts to the people you have chosen to split with. We do not use it to train anything or sell it to anyone.
Paid plans
Duesy is free to use, supported by ads. Duesy Pro is a paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional features. Where a plan is offered:
- Prices and what each plan includes are shown before you buy.
- Purchases made in the mobile app are billed through your app-store account (Google Play). The store takes the payment, and the store's own terms and refund policy apply to that transaction.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in your app-store account settings — you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- A one-time "lifetime" purchase, where offered, is a single payment and does not renew.
- Referral credit is applied as free days of Pro and holds no cash value.
- We may change prices, but never for a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change takes effect.
Accuracy of balances
Balances are arithmetic on what you and the people you split with have entered. They are only as accurate as those entries. Duesy is not an accounting, tax or financial-advice service, and should not be relied on as one.
Ending things
You may delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Duesy available and correct, but it is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for disputes between you and the people you split expenses with. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
